Berlin Bamboo Bikes ~ sweet weed on wheels ~ back to the roots

Here are important infos for the Workshop, please bring this stuff ready made to the Workshop!

What to bring to the Workshop?!
-O- stencil
-O-  dish (see photo below)
-O-  5 clean cloths for cleaning parts
-O-      working clothes:
-O--      trousers (no shorts)
-O--  long-sleeved shirt
-O--  Basecap
-O--  work shoes - no sandals!
-O-  something to eat and drink ;)

To build the BBBike you need a geometry of a bike that suits good for you.

Use your own old Bike to make the stencil or ask somebody with a bike in your size.

It has to be a male-geometry, if you have a female-bike, draw a fictive top tube.

Please read this HowTo completely befor you start
You'll need to do it: 2 corrugated card boards (from cardboard box), pencil, string, long ruler/ lath, folding yardstick, sharp cutter/ knife

1. Fix the one card board with the string at top tube, down tube and seat tube.
2. then trace the 3 tubes from both sides with the pencil
   

   

3. then do the same with the seat tube and the other tubes (see pic below)

   

   the area of the foot pedal you'll draw afterwards
   

   

4. measure the length of the head tube
   
5. complete the lines afterwards
   
6. add the centerlines of all tubes in the drawings
   

   at the centerlines we cut the stencils
   

7. Cut the stencils with a sharp knife at the centerlines
   
8. write the name of the tubes onto the stencil: head-, top-, down- & seat-tube, seat- & chain-stays...
9. write down the edge-lengths of the stenciles
   
10. write down your name onto the stenciles
11. the stenciles are ready now!
